008 A short update on the purpose behind the Down Under and Beyond podcast

by Brett Parry on March 17, 2014

Time For Reflection Message Means Ponder Or ReflectI have recorded this short than usual episode just to share with you the results of some thinking I have been doing in relation to the content of the podcast.

There has been couple of weeks of really trying to identify the kinds of things I truly would love to bring to you. From this has come the decision to take a slight sidestep in content. I will be seeking out stories and inspiration from others, encouraging them to share their experiences in stepping out of their comfort zone to follow their passions or dreams.

You may be one of these people. Everyone’s story is different. Each experience is unique, but many can relate and use it prepare for their own journey in life. I would love to hear from you, or perhaps you know someone with a great story to tell. Either way, let me know. I would love to hear it and include it as an interview. Please leave your comments here below, or send me an email at brett@downunderandbeyond.com.

Happy to share stories on the topic of Australians repatriating http://newcomersnetwork.com/information/repatriation_the_difficulties_of_returning_home_and_reverse_culture_shock_on_re-entry_from_expatriate_life.php and also talking about the ‘decision’ to move http://newcomersnetwork.com/information/deciding_to_move.php

Hi Sue, looks like some great resources. I will certainly be directing many of my clients to your page. We should also have a think about a topic that you could come on the podcast and discuss. I just subscribed to your mailing list. If you can, shoot me an email so we can stay in contact.

Apologies for the delay in responding Brett – I did not receive a notification that you had responded – just happened to find this post again when I did a Google search.

Anyway, I have sent an invitation to connect on LinkedIn and I am more than happy to discuss a variety of topics on your podcast and also promote the recordings through the Newcomers Network mailing list and social media once they have been completed.

Keep up the great work!
