011 ANZAC Day – Remembrance and Honour

by Brett Parry on April 22, 2014

This episode of the podcast is dedicated to the remembrance and recognition of ANZAC day and its place in Australian and New Zealand culture. ANZAC Day stands as one of the most enduring events on the calendar in both countries and honours the contribution and sacrifice of those that have served their country, and indeed those that have paid the ultimate price.

Celebrated every year on April 25th, Australians and New Zealanders around the world pause to remember and honour.

“They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.”
